Hey Moneygardner: Since you like goals, want to team up for a "Six-Pack by Summer Challenge 2009"? I tried one in 2008 and got to what could pass as a six pack, for the first time in my pudgy life. I'm also trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon ... was supposed to do it this year but missed.

The body-transformation goals, like your lose 50lbs goal, are very motivational because you can see results almost on a weekly or monthly basis. Part of the six-pack 2008 challenge I had to go from 210lbs to 175lbs and it was fun weighing myself every week.

I used to read Men's Health several years ago. Whenever I go grocery shopping I often check out the magazine section, and MH is a regular one to check out.
