sunday links

I always like authors that find ways to simplify and get to the heart of a complicated issue. Michael James on Money presents A Thousand Foot View of The Credit Crisis. This is a very interesting post, and really inspires some thinking about the future.

Frog of Finance's Net Worth was down 3.8%, for the next few months he'll be concentrating on debt reduction.

My friend, Nurseb911 at Triaging wonders if this is the Bottom For Canadian Bank Stocks

Thanks for the mention. I'm never too sure how people will take such high-level views. At least a few people liked this one.

Thanks for including me in your Sunday links MG!

I wrote that post with some optimism and by the behaviour of the market last week I could be proven wrong as soon as tomorrow (Monday). I hold Scott fully responsible since he's the one who originally brought the idea of observing the debt markets to potentially indicate a bottom in equities :)

Thanks for the mention MG! I will indeed focus more on debt reduction, but I'm still sending small amounts of money to my DRiP companies.

That's one of the nice things about DRiPs -- you can send small amounts, or none at all, depending on your current situation.

Cheers!
